Aircraft Rental Rates:

DuBois Aviation does NOT have a fuel surcharge.
 
What is a fuel surcharge?
 
Most flight schools base their rental rates on a set fuel price. If the fuel price goes up during your training you pay the difference. DuBois Aviation does NOT do this. Be sure to check with your school for more information.
 
 
Hourly time calculated using HOBBS meter in aircraft.
 
**Block rates only apply with a $1,000.00 desposit on your account (no minimum after deposit)
 
*** Cessna 150, 50hr. block rate applies with a $2,950.00 desposit on your account (no minimum after deposit)

If your renting bring the following information:
  • Pilot Certificate
  • Medical Certificate
  • Pilot Log Book
  • Photo I.D. or U.S. Passport

You will also need to be checked out in our aircraft by one of our instructors. This typically takes 1-2 hours.

Du Bois Aviation operates Six aircraft. Three Piper Cherokee's, one Cessna 150, one Mooney Mark-20B and a Piper Seneca IV.
 
We own our aircraft and take great measures to maintain them to FAA standards.  The interiors are clean and un-torn, everthing works, no inoperative instruments. Our aircraft are also hangered at all times and washed twice a week.
 
We would advise you to check the condition of other aircraft from local flight schools and you will find our aircraft are "cherry".

N8189C is a IFR Piper Seneca IV equipped with two Continental TSIO-360-220hp turbo-charged engines This aircraft trues at 190kts @ 14000ft. Avionics include a Garmin 430 moving map GPS/Comm/Nav. with glide-slope, King KX-155 Comm/Nav. with glide-slope and a Garmin 327 transponder (see images below). This aircraft is used for Instrument, Commercial, Flight Instructor training and rental.

N74770 is a IFR Mooney Mark-20B equipped with Lycoming O-360-180hp engine and a PowerFlow exhaust system. This aircraft trues at 150kts @ 8000ft. Avionics include a Garmin 250 moving map GPS/Comm., King KX-125 Comm/Nav. with digital O.B.S., King KN-54 Nav. with glide-slope and a Garmin 327 transponder (see images below). This aircraft is used for Instrument, Commercial, Flight Instructor training and rental.

N7085R is a IFR Piper Cherokee equipped with Lycoming O-320-160hp engine and a Horton S.T.O.L. kit, which includes a cuffed leading edge wing, stall fences and vortex generators on the rudder. This kit gives a nice feel during slow flight and reduces the stall speed by 4 knots. Avionics include a Garmin 300 moving map GPS/Comm., King KX-155 Comm/Nav with Glideslope, King KN-54 Nav. with O.B.S. and a Narco AT-150 transponder. This aircraft is used for Private, Instrument training and rental.

N5800U is a IFR Piper Cherokee equipped with Lycoming O-320-160hp engine and a new updated instrument panel. Avionics include a Century NSD-360 HSI , King KX-165 Comm/Nav., King KX-155 Comm/Nav., Garmin GMA-340 audio panel, Garmin 320 transponder and a complete electronic engine gauge package from Electronics International (see images below). This aircraft is used for Private, Instrument training and rental.

N9514J is a IFR Piper Cherokee 180 C equipped with Lycoming O-360-180hp engine . This aircraft is a load hauler... with a useful load of 1038lbs (see other specs. below). Avionics include a King audio panel with marker beacon, King KX-197 Comm., Narco MK-12D Comm/Nav., King KNS-80 RNAV/DME, dual glide- slopes, and a Narco AT-165 digital transponder. This aircraft is used for Private, Instrument training and rental.

N51105 is a IFR Cessna 150J equipped with a Continental O-200 100hp engine. Avionics include two TKM MX-300 digital flip-flop Comm/Nav. radio's with dual O.B.S.'s and glide-slope,  King audio panel with marker beacon, Narco AT-150 transponder and a two place stereo intercom with iPOD jack (see images below). This aircraft is used for Private, Instrument training and rental.
